Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
To ensure your On Cloudhero trainers perform their best and last longer, follow these guidelines.
Setup & First Use
- Lacing: The speed laces are designed for efficiency. Pull the toggle up to loosen, slide your foot in, then pull the loose end of the lace to tighten the entire system evenly. Press the toggle down to secure.
- Fit Check: Ensure the shoe feels snug but not overly tight. There should be about a thumb's width space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Compatibility
- Running Surface: Ideal for road running, light trail running, and mixed-terrain environments due to the Missiongrip outsole.
- Activity Type: Best suited for performance running, training, and races where waterproof protection and responsive cushioning are beneficial.
- Season: Excellent for all seasons, especially effective in wet or unpredictable weather conditions.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: After use, especially on muddy trails, gently brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, as this can damage the waterproof membrane and materials.
- Drying: Always air dry your trainers naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as high heat can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent mildew and odor.
- Lace Maintenance: Periodically check the speed lace toggle for smooth operation. If laces become dirty, wipe them clean.
- Waterproof Membrane Care: To maintain the integrity of the waterproof membrane, avoid excessively scrubbing or applying abrasive cleaners to the upper material.
