Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded correctly through all eyelets. Adjust the tightness to provide a snug, secure fit without being too restrictive. A good fit allows a thumb's width between the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Pull Tabs: Utilize the pull tabs on the tongue and heel to easily slide the foot into the shoe.
- Initial Wear: Encourage your child to walk and run a short distance to ensure comfort and proper fit before extended use.
Compatibility
These trainers are designed for unisex use and are compatible with various children's activities and casual wear. They are primarily intended for running, active play, and general athletic use. Their design complements athletic apparel, school uniforms, and everyday casual outfits.
Care
- Cleaning the Upper: For the textile and synthetic mesh upper, gently wipe dirt and scuffs with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher spots, use a small amount of mild soap (like dish soap) diluted in water, applying it with a soft brush (e.g., an old toothbrush) or cloth. Wipe away soap residue with a clean damp cloth.
- Cleaning the Sole: The rubber outsole can be cleaned with a damp cloth or soft brush to remove dirt and debris.
- Drying: Always air dry the shoes away from direct heat (like radiators or sunlight), which can damage materials. Stuffing the shoes with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent material degradation and odor build-up.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the cushioning and adhesive components.
