Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Achieving the Perfect Fit
For the women's HOKA Clifton 10, special attention should be paid to sizing:
- Existing HOKA Users (Clifton 9 or Bondi 8): We recommend trying half a UK size down from your usual HOKA running shoe size.
- New to HOKA: Stick with your usual running shoe size from other brands.
- Lacing: Utilize the secure double-lace lock system to fine-tune the fit across your midfoot. Ensure laces are snug but not overtight to allow for natural foot flex.
Compatibility: Where Your Clifton 10 Shines
- Running Type: Optimised for neutral runners seeking maximum cushioning for daily road running and comfortable long distances.
- Terrain: Best used on paved surfaces, asphalt, and well-maintained tracks. While durable, it's not designed for aggressive trail running.
- Activity: Ideal for daily training runs, long-distance efforts, recovery jogs, and walking. Its comfort also makes it suitable for extended periods of standing.
Care: Maintaining Your Clifton 10
Proper care extends the life and performance of your shoes:
- Cleaning: Gently brush off loose dirt with a soft brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and cold water, wiping the upper with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or machine dry your HOKA Clifton 10s, as this can compromise their structural integrity and cushioning.
