Ensure your lacing is neither too tight nor too loose; experiment with different lacing techniques to find the optimal fit for your foot. Consider trying different socks designed for trail running to improve moisture management and reduce friction. The removable EVA insole can also be replaced with aftermarket insoles if personalized arch support is needed.

While the Vibram® Mega Grip outsole offers excellent traction, performance can vary based on specific conditions like extremely slick mud or wet rock algae. Ensure the outsoles are clean of debris, as packed mud can reduce grip. Adjust your stride and foot placement to utilize the full lug pattern effectively.

This often indicates a fit issue. Ensure you're wearing the correct size; trail shoes often require a slightly larger fit than street shoes to allow for foot swelling and downhill movement.
