Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because these shoes incorporate handwoven wool, standard leather-only cleaning methods may not be sufficient.
- Routine Care: Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dry dirt or grass from the tweed and leather sections after every round.
- Moisture Prevention: Avoid submerging the shoes. If the wool becomes damp, let the shoes air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the fabric from warping or shrinking.
- Storage: Always use shoe trees to maintain the shape of the leather and to help absorb excess moisture from within the shoe.
- Compatibility: These shoes feature standard golf spike configurations compatible with most FootJoy replacement cleats.
