Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon receiving your Nike Phantom Luna II Academy FG MG boots, it's recommended to wear them for a few short sessions to break them in. This allows the NIKESKIN upper and the asymmetric heel to conform to your foot shape, optimizing comfort and fit. Ensure you wear appropriate football socks for the best experience.
Compatibility
These boots are designed with a Multi-Ground (FG/MG) soleplate, making them compatible with both:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly damp.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on extremely hard ground, concrete, or indoor courts, as this can damage the soleplate and compromise performance.
Care
To maintain the performance and longevity of your Phantom Luna II Academy boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off dirt and mud with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hairdryers), as this can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly check the studs and soleplate for wear or damage. Promptly address any issues to ensure safety and optimal performance.
