While wearable, they are designed for performance road running and may feel less comfortable than dedicated walking shoes.
They feature a regular width fit. If you prefer extra room for foot swelling during long races, you may consider a half-size up.
Yes, they are engineered for race day performance, making them well-suited for distances ranging from 5K to a full marathon.
Racing shoes typically have a lower lifespan than daily trainers; check for midsole compression or outsole wear after 200-300 miles.
The Deviate Elite 4 features an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.
Ensure the laces are tensioned properly to lock the heel in place; ensure the shoe size is appropriate for your foot shape.
Avoid using the shoes on gravel or trails; use exclusively on paved road surfaces to protect the lightweight fabric.
Because these are high-performance race shoes, ensure you test them on a few training runs before using them for a target race to allow the upper to adapt to your foot. These shoes feature a regular width fit with an 8mm heel-to-toe drop, making them highly compatible with standard neutral running styles. To maintain the life of the performance materials, avoid machine washing the shoes. Instead, spot clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Always air-dry the shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can damage the foam and adhesive materials.
