Care
To maintain the beauty and performance of your Le Creuset Kone Kettle, follow these care instructions:
- Handwash Only: This kettle is not dishwasher safe. Wash by hand using warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaning pads, steel wool, or harsh detergents, as these can damage the vitreous enamel finish.
- Drying: After washing, dry the kettle immediately and thoroughly to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits may form inside, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling solution. Bring to a boil, then let it sit for a few hours or overnight before rinsing thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
