Setup
Getting started with your adidas Predator Elite FG boots is straightforward. Simply use the lace closure system to secure the boots firmly on your feet. Ensure the laces are tied snugly but not too tight, allowing for comfortable movement and a secure fit. It's recommended to wear them for a light training session or two before a match to allow them to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are designed specifically for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise performance and durability. Always check the type of playing surface before use.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Predator Elite FG boots:
- Clean After Each Use: After every session, gently brush off loose dirt and grass. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the HybridTouch 2.0 upper. For tougher mud, a soft brush with mild soap and water can be used.
- Rinse Studs: Remove any mud or debris from the ControlFrame 2.0 soleplate and studs.
- Air Dry: Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Wear: Please note that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the boot may wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic occurrence and will not affect the performance of the product.
