Setup
- Lacing: Before playing, ensure you lace the boots securely from the toes upwards. The lace fastening allows for a personalized fit. Adjust the tightness to be snug but comfortable, without restricting circulation.
- Socks: Wear appropriate football socks that provide cushioning and prevent blisters, complementing the boot's fit.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG). This means they are best suited for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very soft/muddy ground (SG) may reduce their effectiveness, increase wear, and potentially affect your performance or safety.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a soft brush and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Outsole: Inspect the studs regularly and clean any mud or grass stuck in the Controlframe 2.0 outsole to maintain optimal traction.
- Drying: Always air dry your boots at room temperature. Do not place them directly on heaters or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help retain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A boot bag can protect them from scratches and keep them clean between uses.
