Care
Proper care is crucial to maintain the waterproof and breathable properties of your jacket.
> Info needed: [Specific care instructions from manufacturer's label or website for Isotex 10000 fabric. General advice typically includes: Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with a technical wash (avoiding fabric softeners), air dry, and re-proof with DWR treatment when water stops beading.]
General Care Tips:
- Cleaning: Use a technical wash designed for waterproof breathable fabrics. Avoid conventional detergents and fabric softeners, as they can degrade the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish and clog the membrane.
- Washing: Wash on a gentle cycle at a low temperature (e.g., 30°C).
- Drying: Air dry the jacket. Avoid tumble drying unless specifically instructed by the care label, and if so, use a low heat setting.
- Re-proofing: Over time, the DWR finish will wear off. When water no longer beads on the fabric surface, it's time to reapply a DWR treatment, available as a spray or wash-in product. This helps maintain the jacket's performance.
