Setup
- Torso Length Adjustment: Loosen the strap behind the AirScape backpanel. Slide the shoulder harness up or down until the top of the shoulder straps sits roughly 2-3 inches below the top of your shoulder, ensuring the hipbelt can rest on your iliac crest (hip bones). Re-tighten the strap.
- Custom Fit-on-the-Fly Hipbelt: While wearing the pack with some weight, pull the `Fit-on-the-Fly` tab on each side of the hipbelt to extend or retract the padded sections until they comfortably wrap around your hips, covering the iliac crest.
- Custom Fit-on-the-Fly Shoulder Straps: Similarly, adjust the `Fit-on-the-Fly` tab on each shoulder strap. The padding should extend comfortably over your shoulders without gaps or pinching.
- Load Lifter Straps: Once the pack is loaded and on, tighten these straps (located above the shoulder straps) to pull the pack closer to your body, enhancing stability.
- Sternum Strap: Adjust for comfort across your chest. It helps pull the shoulder straps inward and can be moved up or down.
Compatibility
This pack is designed for adult male users for multi-day backpacking trips, expeditions requiring significant gear, or adventure travel where larger carrying capacity and comfort are priorities. Its adjustable features ensure compatibility with a wide range of body shapes and sizes, making it a versatile choice for many.
Care
- Cleaning: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and air dry completely out of direct sunlight.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure the pack is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.
- DWR Maintenance: The PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating will naturally wear over time. If water no longer beads on the fabric, consider reapplying a DWR treatment product suitable for nylon outdoor gear (sold separately) to maintain water resistance.
- Raincover: After use, ensure the raincover is clean and dry before storing it back in its designated pocket.
