Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Achieving Your Perfect Fit
- Load the Pack: Before fitting, load your backpack with typical gear weight (15-20 lbs) to simulate a real-world scenario.
- Adjust Torso Length: Loosen the vertical compression straps on the backpanel. Slide the shoulder harness up or down until the top of the shoulder straps are approximately 2 inches below the top of your shoulders. Re-tighten the straps.
- Hipbelt Placement: Fasten the hipbelt so the padded section sits comfortably over the top of your hip bones. Tighten the hipbelt straps evenly until snug.
- Custom Fit-on-the-Fly Hipbelt: Pull the hipbelt wings forward to adjust the padding width, ensuring full wrap-around comfort over your hips.
- Shoulder Straps: Cinch the shoulder straps until the pack is comfortably snug against your back. Avoid over-tightening, as the hipbelt should carry most of the weight.
- Load Lifters: Adjust the straps above your shoulders (load lifters) to pull the top of the pack closer to your body, creating a slight backward lean.
- Sternum Strap: Adjust the sternum strap to a comfortable height across your chest and buckle it. This stabilizes the shoulder straps.
Compatibility
This pack is designed for adult male hikers and backpackers requiring a 65-liter capacity for multi-day trips or gear-intensive adventures. Its highly adjustable nature makes it compatible with a wide range of body types, ensuring a personalized fit.
