Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Nike Maxfly 2 features a traditional lacing system. Ensure the laces are tightened evenly from the base to the top for a secure, locked-in fit. Avoid over-tightening, which can cause discomfort or restrict blood flow. The round toe box provides ample room for toe splay, but verify the fit is snug without being constrictive.
Compatibility: This shoe is optimized for use on standard running tracks. It is compatible with most track surfaces including synthetic and cinder tracks. It is not recommended for road running or general training on hard surfaces due to its specialized construction.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your Nike Maxfly 2:
- Cleaning: After use, remove loose dirt and debris with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing or soaking the shoes.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
