Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Nike Maxfly 2 features a traditional lacing system. Ensure the laces are tied securely but not overly tight to allow for natural foot movement while maintaining stability. Adjust the tightness based on the specific demands of your run or race.
Compatibility: These shoes are primarily designed for use on standard athletic tracks. While they can be worn for short periods on other surfaces, prolonged use on abrasive surfaces like concrete or asphalt may lead to premature wear of the outsole.
Care:
- Cleaning: After use, brush off any loose dirt or debris. If necessary, use a soft brush or cloth dampened with cold water to clean the upper and midsole. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources such as radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
