Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Fit
- Lacing: Loosen the standard lace-up closure sufficiently before putting on the shoe.
- Insert Foot: Slide your foot into the shoe, ensuring your heel sits snugly against the back.
- Adjust Laces: Begin tightening the laces from the toes upwards, ensuring even tension across the top of your foot. Avoid over-tightening, which can cause discomfort or restrict circulation.
- Knot Securely: Tie a secure knot. The low-profile ankle collar allows for natural movement.
Compatibility
- Runner Type: Best suited for neutral runners who do not require significant motion control or stability features. If you exhibit mild pronation, these might still be suitable, but severe overpronators or supinators should consider shoes with specific support.
- Activity: Ideal for daily road running, light track work, gym workouts, and general active wear.
- Surfaces: Performs well on pavement, treadmills, and indoor gym floors.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Under Armour Charged Pursuit 3 running shoes, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe away dirt and debris with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap mixed with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb residual moisture.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, consider using shoe deodorizers or placing baking soda in the shoes overnight to absorb smells.
- Avoid Submersion: Do not machine wash or submerge the shoes in water, as this can degrade the cushioning and upper materials.
