Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: The shoe features a standard tie lace system. Ensure laces are tied securely but not too tightly to avoid pressure points. Experiment with different lacing techniques if you experience discomfort, such as skipping an eyelet or using a heel-lock lace.
- First Wear: It's advisable to wear the shoes for shorter periods initially to allow the deluxe foam sockliner to mold to your foot's unique shape for personalized comfort.
Compatibility
- Runner Type: These shoes are explicitly designed for `NEUTRAL` runners. This means they are best for individuals whose feet have a normal pronation pattern and do not require additional arch support or stability features to correct overpronation (excessive inward roll) or supination (outward roll).
- Activities: Ideal for daily road running, light trail running, gym workouts, walking, and general athletic wear. The balance of cushioning and flexibility makes them a good all-around training partner.
- Surfaces: Performs well on pavement, track, treadmills, and short grass or packed dirt paths.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your Under Armour Charged Pursuit 3 shoes.
- Cleaning: Gently remove dirt and debris using a soft brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, mix a small amount of mild soap with cool water. Lightly scrub stained areas with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, as this can damage materials and cushioning.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources like radiators. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can degrade materials.
- Rotation: If you run frequently, consider rotating between two pairs of shoes. This allows the cushioning to fully decompress and recover between runs, extending the lifespan of each pair.
