The Moab Speed 2 Mid GORE-TEX® represents Merrell's newest innovation in hiking. This enhanced generation of hiking shoes merges the expertise and trail insights of the top-selling Moab hiking boot with the latest advancements from elite hikers around the world. Features include a padded collar, bellows tongue to keep out debris, and protective, abrasion-resistant synthetic heel and toe caps. Dual heel and tongue loops allow for ease of entry and carabiner compatibility. The boots are treated with Cleansport NXT™ for natural odor control. Lightweight FlexPlate™ technology provides torsional rigidity, lateral stability, and forefoot flexibility. The FloatPro™ Foam midsole ensures lightweight comfort that lasts. The Vibram TC5+ outsole offers exceptional traction for outdoor multi-sport activities, formulated exclusively for Merrell, with Vibram traction lugs specifically designed to increase traction and shed debris. The GORE-TEX waterproof membrane provides exceptional breathability and waterproof performance. The upper is made of Nylon ripstop and TPU, with 100% recycled laces and webbing. The lining is 100% recycled breathable mesh, and the footbed cover is also 100% recycled mesh. The removable EVA foam footbed is 50% recycled, and the boots are vegan-friendly.
