The Moab Speed 2 Mid GORE-TEX® boots are optimized for speed and lighter loads. While they offer good support, they may not provide the same level of ankle stability and underfoot protection as heavier, high-cut backpacking boots for multi-day treks with very heavy packs.
Regular cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap will help maintain the membrane's performance. Avoid using heat to dry. Periodically, apply a waterproofing spray recommended for GORE-TEX® footwear to refresh the water repellency of the outer material.
The Moab Speed series incorporates lighter materials and cushioning inspired by trail running shoes, aiming for a more agile and responsive feel. The Moab Speed 2 Mid GORE-TEX® features increased foam underfoot and a Vibram TC5+ sole for enhanced performance and grip, while maintaining the trusted GORE-TEX® waterproofing.
