The Birlea Corona Bed Frame is ideal for homeowners seeking a traditional, rustic aesthetic in their bedroom. Its standout benefit is the combination of sturdy construction and timeless design elements like classic curves and stud detailing, providing both visual charm and structural support. The main caveat for potential buyers is that the frame is designed exclusively for UK standard-size mattresses, meaning it may not be compatible with non-standard dimensions from other regions.

No, the Birlea Corona Bed Frame is sold as a frame only. You must purchase a UK standard-sized mattress separately.
Most IKEA mattresses follow European sizing, which differs from UK standard sizes. Please check your mattress dimensions against standard UK measurements before attempting to use it.
The Birlea Corona range is typically constructed from high-quality pine, offering a durable and rustic finish.
Due to the size and weight of the components, it is strongly recommended that two people assemble the frame together.
Keep the wood clean by dusting regularly. If a deep clean is necessary, use a slightly damp cloth followed immediately by a dry one.
Check all bolts and fittings to ensure they are fully tightened. Tightening the hardware usually resolves friction-based noise.
Ensure the center support bar is correctly positioned and that all slats are evenly spaced and firmly attached to the frame.
Assembly is required upon arrival, and it is recommended to use basic household tools to ensure all fasteners are tightened securely. Always verify the orientation of the slats before placing your mattress on the frame. Regarding compatibility, this product is strictly built for UK standard dimensions; verify your mattress size before purchase to ensure a proper fit. For care, dust the wooden components with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the finish. Periodically check and tighten all bolts after the first month of use to compensate for any natural movement in the frame components.
