The full-grain leather upper provides natural water resistance and can repel light moisture. However, these boots are not fully waterproof. For enhanced protection in wet conditions, we recommend treating them with a suitable leather waterproofing spray.

The CAT Colorado 2.0 Boots generally run true to size. We recommend measuring your foot and comparing it to a standard size chart, or trying them on to ensure the best fit, especially if you plan to wear thick socks.

The EVA foam footbed is designed for long-wearing comfort. While it is generally integrated, some users may find it possible to replace it with aftermarket insoles for personalized comfort or orthotic needs. Check if your specific pair has a removable footbed.

These boots are ideal for general everyday wear, casual outings, light outdoor activities, and work environments that don't require specialized safety footwear. Their durable construction and traction make them versatile for various casual and semi-rugged uses.

For routine cleaning, wipe the leather with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized leather cleaner according to its instructions, followed by a leather conditioner to maintain the material's suppleness and appearance.

We recommend conditioning the full-grain leather every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you notice the leather becoming dry or stiff. Regular conditioning helps prevent cracking and keeps the leather looking its best.

This is common with full-grain leather. Wear the boots for short periods (1-2 hours) over several days to allow the leather and footbed to break in and conform to your feet. The padded collar will also soften with use.

Clean the area with a damp cloth, then apply a high-quality leather conditioner or balm. For scuffs, gently rub a small amount of leather conditioner or a specialized leather restorer into the affected area. Regular conditioning prevents dryness.

Check the rubber outsole for accumulated dirt, mud, or debris, especially in the treads. Clean the soles thoroughly with a stiff brush and water to restore optimal traction. Ensure the boots are fully dry before wearing.

Remove the footbed if possible and allow the boots to air out in a well-ventilated area for at least 24 hours. You can also sprinkle baking soda or use shoe deodorizer inserts overnight to absorb odors. Ensure socks are clean and breathable.
