While the full-grain leather offers some natural resistance to moisture, these boots are not explicitly designed or marketed as waterproof. For protection in wet conditions, we recommend applying a waterproofing spray or wax specifically designed for leather footwear.

The CAT Colorado 2.0 Boots come in standard adult sizing. We recommend checking your usual UK shoe size. If you are between sizes, consider trying the next size up or down depending on your preference for fit (e.g., if you plan to wear thick socks).

The durable rubber outsole provides good traction on many surfaces. However, for extreme winter conditions, additional features like specific insulation or advanced slip-resistance might be beneficial. They are suitable for general cold weather but may not be ideal for heavy snow or ice without further preparation.

Full-grain leather is the highest quality leather, made from the outermost layer of the hide, retaining its natural grain and imperfections. It is known for its durability, strength, and ability to develop a rich patina over time, rather than wearing out.

Cleaning should be done as needed, typically after visible dirt accumulates. Conditioning is recommended every 1-3 months, depending on how frequently you wear the boots and the conditions they are exposed to. Consistent care prolongs the life and look of the leather.

Full-grain leather often requires a break-in period. Wear your boots for shorter durations at first, gradually increasing wear time. Leather conditioners can also help soften the material.

This is typically a sign of neglected leather. Clean the boots thoroughly, then apply a high-quality leather conditioner or balm. Regular conditioning is key to preventing this issue.

Often, squeaking can come from the insoles rubbing against the boot's interior. Try removing the insoles and dusting the inside of the boot and the underside of the insole with a small amount of talcum powder. If the issue persists, check if the outsole is rubbing against any part of the upper or if the rubber has become worn unevenly.

Ensure the rubber outsole is clean and free from embedded dirt or debris. Use a stiff brush to remove anything lodged in the tread. If the tread pattern is significantly worn down, it may be time to consider resoling or replacing the boots for optimal safety.
