Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
To prepare your Predator Elite FG boots for play, simply put them on and use the `lace closure` to adjust for a secure and comfortable `regular fit`. Ensure the `adidas Primeknit collar` sits snugly around your ankle for optimal support without restriction. It is recommended to wear them for a few light sessions to properly break them in and adapt to your foot's unique shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for use on Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This typically includes natural grass fields that are dry or slightly damp. Using FG boots on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise the boot's performance, durability, and could potentially lead to injury or pitch damage.
Care
Proper care will extend the life of your Predator Elite FG boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt by tapping the boots together. Use a soft brush or damp cloth with a mild soap solution to clean the `HybridTouch 2.0 upper` and `Strikeskin grip elements`. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Drying: Air dry your boots at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or artificial heat sources, as these can damage the materials and adhesives. Do not tumble dry.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled paper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Finish: Please note that the `lacquer finish` on the bottom of the `ControlFrame 2.0 soleplate` is designed to wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic effect and will not affect the performance or structural integrity of the product.
