Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting the most out of your NEFF Washing Machine - C involves proper installation and consistent care. As a built-in appliance, specific considerations apply.
Installation
This washing machine is designed to be fully integrated into your kitchen cabinetry. Due to its built-in nature and the necessary plumbing and electrical connections, professional installation is highly recommended. Ensure your installation area meets the product dimensions: 818 mm (H) x 596 mm (W) x 544 mm (D). Proper leveling is crucial for quiet operation and efficiency.

Compatibility
- Electrical: Requires a standard grounded electrical outlet.
- Plumbing: Needs access to a cold water supply and a suitable drain point.
- Cabinetry: Designed to fit into standard kitchen appliance housing units. Consult your kitchen designer or installer for specific cut-out requirements.
Care & Maintenance
Regular care will prolong the life and efficiency of your washing machine.
- Clean the Detergent Dispenser: Regularly remove and clean the detergent drawer to prevent buildup of detergent and softener, which can lead to blockages or mold.
- Clean the Drum: Run a maintenance wash (e.g., a hot cycle without laundry, using a specialized washing machine cleaner or white vinegar) every few months to remove detergent residue and bacteria.
- Check and Clean the Filter: Periodically check the drain pump filter, usually located at the bottom front of the machine. Refer to your user manual for exact instructions. This helps prevent blockages and ensures efficient draining.
- Wipe Down the Door Seal: After each wash, wipe the rubber door seal dry to prevent mold and mildew growth. Leave the door slightly ajar when not in use to allow air circulation.
- External Cleaning: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
