Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Each cage kit comes with comprehensive instructions, diagrams, and a list of contents. The primary steps involve pushing the 16mm upright poles (legs) approximately 300mm into the soil. Then, use the provided connectors (ball connectors or joiners) to attach the 13mm crossbars to the legs. Finally, drape the chosen netting over the assembled frame and secure it. Ensure the ground is suitable for pushing the poles in.
Compatibility: The cages are designed for use in most garden settings. The netting options are compatible with the cage frame. Ensure you select the appropriate netting for the pests you wish to deter. The system is compatible with various fruits, vegetables, and salad greens.
Care: The aluminium frame is inherently rust-resistant and requires minimal care. Keep the frame clean by wiping it down periodically. Ensure the netting is stored correctly when not in use to prolong its lifespan. Periodically check the poles in the soil for stability, especially after strong winds. Remember to remove the netting during adverse weather conditions like heavy snow or high winds to prevent damage to the frame.
