The PING i230 Irons with Steel Shafts are designed for players seeking consistent distance control and tighter dispersion. An activated elastomer insert lowers the CG for increased distance while enhancing feel and sound, complemented by a multi-material badge. The rounded lead edge ensures smooth turf interaction for clean strikes, and MicroMax grooves provide consistent performance in both wet and dry conditions. These irons feature a fully machined face and grooves for consistent launch and spin, with short-iron control and spin retention in wet conditions. The multi-material, five-piece construction includes a 431 stainless steel body, tungsten toe and tip weights, and a concealed activated elastomer insert. The tour-inspired blade lengths offer compact long irons (3-5) and consistent blade lengths in mid/short irons compared to the i210. Experience consistent, predictable distance and a soft feel.
