This Ping iron has been designed using a combination of materials which have then been used in a 5-piece construction to deliver a feel that is preferred by tour players because of the predictable and consistent ball flight that can be created while also offering a greater experience when connecting with the ball. To generate greater distance while using these irons Ping has placed an Elastomer insert within the clubhead to add 21 grams of weight for a much lower centre of gravity. This design has been paired with tungsten weights that have been placed in the toe to provide greater forgiveness on shots while also offering tighter dispersion. The face of this Ping golf club features Milled MicroMax grooves so that golfers can play with more consistent spin and launch on both long and short approach shots to the greens. While playing these types of shots you will be able to enjoy much more bounce and forgiveness.
