The Under Armour Cloudstrike Waterproof Jacket is designed for active adults seeking reliable protection from the elements without compromising on breathability. Its key benefit is superior waterproofness combined with a lightweight, comfortable feel, making it ideal for sports and outdoor activities. A potential caveat is its focus on core weather protection, meaning it may lack some of the advanced features found in higher-end technical jackets. This jacket utilizes UA Storm technology and fully welded seams to ensure you stay dry, while its durable 2.5-layer bonded fabric offers both protection and ease of movement.

The 10k/10k rating refers to the jacket's waterproofness (10,000mm) and breathability (10,000g/m²/24hr). Higher numbers generally indicate better performance in these areas.
The jacket is primarily designed for waterproof and windproof protection. For very cold weather, it is best used as an outer shell layered over insulating mid-layers and a base layer.
Yes, the jacket features a bungee adjustment on the back of the hood to help secure a better fit.
If water no longer beads up and rolls off the fabric, but instead soaks in, the DWR treatment likely needs reactivation or reapplication.
A 2.5-layer fabric construction means there is an outer face fabric, a waterproof membrane, and a partial inner layer (the '0.5') which is often a protective print or pattern, offering durability and comfort without the need for a full separate lining.
This model features secure, zip hand pockets on the exterior, but typically does not include internal pockets. Please check product specifications for precise details.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment may have worn off. Wash the jacket using a specific technical wash product and then tumble dry on low heat to reactivate the DWR. If performance doesn't improve, consider reapplying a DWR treatment spray.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and mild soap and water. Lubricate the zipper with a graphite pencil or a silicone-based zipper lubricant.
Ensure all vents are open (if applicable) and that the inner layers of clothing are also breathable. If you are sweating heavily, the jacket's breathability may be at its limit; consider pausing or reducing activity intensity.
Inspect seams for any damage. If the issue persists and the jacket is within its warranty period, contact customer support for potential repair or replacement.
Setup: The jacket requires no specific setup. It is ready to wear out of the packaging.
Compatibility: This jacket is designed for adult use and pairs well with athletic wear and outdoor gear. It is suitable for a range of activities including running, hiking, training, and casual outdoor excursions.
