The Under Armour Cloudstrike Waterproof Jacket is designed for adults seeking reliable protection from the elements during outdoor activities. Its primary benefit is offering robust waterproofness and breathability, ensuring comfort in wet conditions. A key consideration is its specific fit and material composition, which is important for maximizing performance. This jacket utilizes UA Storm technology, fully welded seams, and a 2.5-layer bonded fabric construction to provide 100% waterproof and breathable coverage, featuring a secure fit with adjustable elements and a fluorine-free water-repellent treatment.

The jacket is designed to be 100% waterproof, featuring fully taped seams and UA Storm technology, not just water-resistant.
A 10k/10k rating means the fabric can withstand 10,000mm of water pressure before leaking and allows 10,000g of moisture vapor to pass through per square meter in 24 hours, indicating good waterproofing and breathability.
Yes, it is designed for layering. Wear it over a base layer and fleece or insulated mid-layer for warmth in colder conditions.
It means the water-repellent finish does not use perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs), which are often referred to as 'forever chemicals' and can have environmental impacts. This is a more eco-friendly approach.
Yes, it features an adjustable hood with a bungee cord for a customized fit.
The main body is made from 100% Polyester, with at least 90% of this being recycled polyester (excluding trims and embellishments).
Machine wash cold with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach if needed, and tumble dry low. Avoid fabric softeners and dry cleaning, as these can damage the waterproof and breathable properties.
Ensure all seams are properly sealed and that the jacket has not been excessively abraded. Re-evaluate care instructions, especially avoiding fabric softeners.
This can indicate high internal moisture buildup. Ensure the jacket is zipped up to allow the breathable membrane to function. Consider wearing fewer insulating layers underneath if the external temperature doesn't warrant them.
Gently try to clean the zipper track with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper. Apply a small amount of graphite (pencil lead) or wax to the teeth.
Wash the jacket according to care instructions, avoiding fabric softeners. After washing and drying on low heat, you can reactivate the DWR finish by tumble drying on low for 20-30 minutes. For a more thorough restoration, consider a DWR re-treatment spray available at outdoor retailers.
Setup: This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear out of the packaging.
Compatibility: The jacket is designed as unisex apparel. It pairs well with other athletic or outdoor wear. Due to its waterproof nature, it is compatible with various weather conditions when layered appropriately.
