Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your shoes last, avoid wearing them as casual streetwear on pavement for long periods, as this will prematurely wear down the soft lugs of the outsole.
- Break-in: Wear them around the house or on short, flat walks before committing to a multi-day hike to allow the leather to soften.
- Cleaning: After muddy hikes, rinse with lukewarm water. Do not use harsh detergents.
- Drying: Air dry naturally. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or campfires, as this can crack the leather and damage the GORE-TEX lining.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
