Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This is an automatic watch, meaning it powers itself through the motion of your wrist. To start, if the watch has stopped, gently shake it for about 30 seconds to engage the rotor. You can also manually wind the crown (located at the 3 o'clock position) by turning it clockwise about 30-40 times until you feel resistance. Be careful not to over-wind.
Compatibility:
- The black leather strap is a standard size and can be replaced with other compatible 20mm leather, fabric, or rubber straps if desired.
- The watch is compatible with standard watch care tools for strap changes or cleaning.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Clean the leather strap with a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner, ensuring it's dry before wearing.
- Winding: For daily wear, the natural movement of your wrist should keep the watch wound. If not worn daily, wind it manually every few days to maintain accuracy, especially if it has stopped.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant to 50 meters, avoid prolonged immersion in water, contact with salt water, or exposure to high-pressure water jets. Always ensure the crown is pushed in or screwed down (if applicable) before exposure to moisture.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields when not in use.
