Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This is an automatic watch, meaning it is powered by the movement of the wearer's wrist. To start the watch if it has stopped, gently shake it for a minute or two. You can also manually wind it by turning the crown (located at the 3 o'clock position) clockwise approximately 40 times while it is in the closed position. The crown is usually a screw-down type; pull it out to set the time and date.
Compatibility:
This watch is designed as a standalone timepiece. The brown leather strap can be replaced with other 21mm leather, rubber, or metal straps for a customized look.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The leather strap should be cleaned with a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.
- Winding: If the watch is not worn daily, wind it manually periodically to maintain the power reserve and ensure optimal performance.
- Water Resistance: Regularly check the crown and case back are securely fastened. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields, which can affect accuracy.
