Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, and flaking paint. Lightly sand glossy surfaces to improve adhesion. For bare wood, use a suitable exterior wood primer. For metal, use a rust-inhibiting primer if necessary. For maximum 6-year durability, apply Johnstone's Weatherguard Exterior Undercoat before the gloss.
Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply with a good quality brush or roller. Apply in dry conditions, avoiding rain or frost. Two coats are recommended for best results.
Compatibility: Suitable for exterior wood, metal, and plastic. Not recommended for use on surfaces that will be immersed in water or subject to heavy abrasion.
Care: Clean brushes and equipment immediately after use with white spirit. Store paint in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed.
