Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your Peregrine 16s, ensure you have selected the correct UK size, as trail shoes should have a thumb’s width of space at the front to prevent toe impact during steep descents.
- Breaking In: Wear them for short, easy trail walks before taking them on high-mileage runs to let the upper adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: After muddy runs, remove the insoles and rinse the exterior with cool water. Do not submerge the shoes fully for extended periods. Avoid using harsh detergents.
- Drying: Air dry only. Never place your shoes in a tumble dryer or near a direct heat source like a radiator, as this can degrade the foam and adhesive integrity.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to preserve the rubber and mesh quality.
