Full details
The Saucony Guide 19 is designed for adult male runners seeking a balance of maximum cushioning and reliable protection for daily training. Its primary strength lies in the refined PWRRUN foam technology that delivers consistent comfort and support, though users should note that as a dedicated trainer, it is optimized for high-mileage road use rather than agility-focused speed workouts.

Yes, the provided insoles can be removed to accommodate custom orthotics if necessary.
Troubleshooting
Visible dirt accumulation on the white upper
Use a soft brush to remove dry dirt, followed by a damp cloth with mild detergent; air dry away from heat sources.
Feeling of decreased cushioning
Ensure you are allowing at least 24 hours between runs for the PWRRUN foam to recover its shape.
Heel slippage
Try using the 'runner's loop' or 'heel lock' lacing technique to secure the ankle collar more firmly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Saucony Guide 19 trainers last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, allow for 20-30 miles of use to fully adapt the footbed to your unique stride.
- Compatibility: These trainers are intended for road and light gym use. They are not recommended for trail running where sharp rocks could damage the outsole.
- Cleaning: Wipe the white mesh upper with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using a washing machine, as this can degrade the foam integrity.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the materials to yellow or become brittle over time.
- Rotation: If you run daily, consider rotating with another pair of shoes to allow the foam to fully decompress between sessions.
