Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should be carried out by a qualified heating engineer to ensure all joints are watertight and the system is properly bled after the valves are fitted. The set is compatible with standard 15mm copper piping commonly found in UK homes. During installation, use PTFE tape or a suitable liquid joint sealant on all threaded connections to prevent leaks. For care, keep the exterior clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can strip the brushed grey finish and cause long-term cosmetic damage. Periodically check that the TRV head moves freely and is not stuck in a single position, which can happen if the valve remains untouched for an entire season.
