No, this trim is specifically designed for the Durasid Foresta cladding range.
This specific trim is for edge finishes. For corners, please use the Foresta Two-Part Int/Ext Corner profile.
You will need a saw to cut the trim to length, a drill/driver for mounting the base, and appropriate screws.
Each trim piece is 3 meters in length.
The product comes with a factory-finished wood effect. Painting is not recommended as it may affect the clip-in mechanism and warranty.
While it provides an excellent barrier against debris and minor moisture, it should be installed in accordance with standard cladding weather-sealing practices.
Ensure that no cladding board or debris is obstructing the channel. Check that the base trim is not screwed too tightly, which may deform the plastic.
Verify that the primary batten is level. If the base trim is not perfectly vertical or horizontal, the clip mechanism may not engage along its entire length.
To install, ensure your battens are level and securely fastened to the structure. The back of the trim should be screwed into the supporting batten before sliding the cladding board into the channel. The trim is designed exclusively for the Foresta range. Maintenance is minimal; simply wipe the surface with a damp, lint-free cloth or a mild soapy water solution to remove dust or organic debris. Do not use harsh chemical solvents or abrasive scouring pads, as these may damage the wood-effect finish.
