The GORE-TEX® membrane is designed for durability. With proper care and occasional re-treatment of the outer material, the waterproofing can last for several years of regular use.

These boots generally offer good comfort out of the box. However, a short break-in period of a few shorter walks is recommended to allow them to fully conform to your feet and identify any potential pressure points.

These are hiking boots, not specialized trail running shoes. While they offer good grip, they are heavier and less flexible than trail running shoes, making them less ideal for high-speed running.

The mid-height cut provides increased ankle support and protection against debris and minor impacts, which is beneficial on uneven or challenging terrain.

Ensure laces are tied properly for a snug fit. Check for any visible damage to the GORE-TEX® material. If the boots are old, the waterproofing may need reapplication. Always allow boots to dry completely between uses.

Try wearing thicker hiking socks. Adjust lacing to relieve pressure points. If discomfort persists after a break-in period, the fit may not be suitable for your foot shape.

Ensure the rubber sole is clean and free of mud or debris. Worn-out tread can reduce grip; consider replacement if the sole is significantly degraded.
