Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the walls and ceilings are clean, dry, and free from dust and loose debris.
- Measurements: Accurately measure the perimeter of the room to determine the required length of coving.
- Cutting: Use a fine-toothed saw or a mitre box to cut the coving to the required lengths. A sharp utility knife can also work.
- Adhesive Application: Apply a suitable adhesive (specifically designed for polystyrene) to the back of the coving.
- Installation: Carefully position the coving against the wall and ceiling, ensuring it aligns correctly. Press firmly for a few seconds.
- Joining: For corners, cut the coving at a 45-degree angle using a mitre box. Apply adhesive to the joining edges.
- Finishing: Once the adhesive has dried, fill any gaps with a suitable filler and sand smooth. Then, prime and paint to match your desired colour.
Compatibility: Compatible with most interior wall and ceiling surfaces. Ensure the adhesive is suitable for your specific surface material.
Care: Clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Protect from direct impact.
