Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Putting On: Gently stretch the asymmetric Flyknit collar and slide your foot in. Ensure your heel is seated firmly against the stabilizing heel counter. The new frame design is more accommodating, especially around the toes, but a snug fit is intended for performance.
- Lacing: Lace the boots firmly but comfortably, ensuring the laces are tied securely to prevent loosening during play.
Compatibility
These boots are designed as Multi-Ground (FG/MG) football boots, making them suitable for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Newer generation artificial turf pitches (3G/4G).
They are not recommended for use on older artificial grass (2G or sand-based turf), hard ground, concrete, or indoor courts, as this can damage the soleplate and void any warranty.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt with a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not dry them in direct sunlight, on a radiator, or using a hairdryer, as extreme heat can damage the materials and adhesives. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Regularly check studs for wear and tear. Replace boots when studs are significantly worn down to maintain optimal traction and prevent injury.
