The Five Ten Hellcat Cycling Shoes are engineered for mountain bikers seeking a balance between aggressive trail performance and long-lasting durability. These shoes feature a signature Stealth Marathon rubber outsole and a clipless-compatible design, making them ideal for technical climbs and high-speed descents. While they offer superior grip and a locked-in fit, riders should note that the leather construction and reinforced design may require a brief break-in period to achieve maximum comfort.

While designed for mountain biking, their comfort and efficiency make them a viable option for aggressive gravel or adventure riding.
The Hellcat is designed primarily for clipless pedals. The recessed cleat area may interfere with flat pedal pins.
They feature a regular fit. You should have enough room to wiggle your toes, but your heel should be locked in place by the dual retention system.
No, cleats are typically supplied with your pedals, not the shoes.
The leather is durable and water-resistant, but it is not fully waterproof; it will handle splashes but may soak through in heavy rain.
Check that the cleat bolts are tightened and verify that the backplate inside the shoe is properly seated.
Allow the mud to dry completely, then use a stiff-bristled brush to knock off the caked-on dirt before rinsing.
To set up your Hellcats, first install your chosen mountain bike cleats into the recessed mounting area of the sole. Ensure the bolts are tightened securely to the manufacturer's torque specifications for your pedal system. The shoes are compatible with standard two-bolt mountain bike cleat patterns.
For daily care, remove mud after each ride using a soft brush and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the leather finish. If the interior becomes wet, remove the insoles and allow the shoes to air dry in a cool, ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials.
