The Yale Y3 standard security nightlatch offers a stylish, contemporary lock with Yale's expected performance and quality. Its modern design allows for a direct replacement of P77 traditional nightlatches without requiring additional chiselling. The latch can be deadlocked internally via the snib button, and the snib function also allows the latch to be held back. This nightlatch is suitable for both left and right-handed, inward-opening doors. It comes supplied with the Yale 1109 cylinder and 2 keys. The Y3 nightlatches feature a 60mm backset, measured from the door's edge to the keyhole's centre. Locks with a 40mm backset are typically used in confined spaces, such as narrow glass-panelled doors.
