The Yale Y3 standard security nightlatch offers a stylish, contemporary lock with the performance and quality expected from Yale. Its modern design allows it to replace P77 traditional nightlatches without additional chiselling. The latch can be deadlocked internally, and the snib function allows it to be held back. This nightlatch is suitable for both left and right-handed, inward-opening doors and includes the Yale 1109 cylinder and 2 keys. The Y3 nightlatches have a 60mm backset, which is the measurement from the door's edge to the keyhole's center. Locks with a 40mm backset are typically used in restricted spaces, like narrow glass-panelled doors. Supplied with a 1109 external cylinder.
