Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike Pegasus 42 trainers last throughout your training cycle, proper maintenance is required:
- Breaking-In: While these shoes are ready to wear out of the box, perform a few short walks or light jogs to allow the upper material to conform to your foot.
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior using a soft-bristled brush and mild soap. Avoid putting them in a washing machine, as this can break down the adhesives and foam properties.
- Air Drying: Always let your trainers air dry naturally. Never expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, which can cause the midsole foam to warp.
- Rotation: If you run every day, consider rotating between two pairs to allow the cushioning foam time to decompress between sessions.
