Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Predator Elite SG boots is straightforward. Simply `lace them up` to achieve a snug and secure fit. The `lace closure` allows for personal adjustment, ensuring your foot is comfortably locked in place for maximum support and control during play.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) football pitches. This means they are best suited for natural grass fields that are wet or muddy, where longer, conical studs can penetrate the surface to provide optimal traction. Using them on firm ground, artificial turf, or indoor surfaces is not recommended as it can compromise performance and may damage the boots or increase risk of injury.
Care
To ensure the longevity and performance of your adidas Predator Elite SG boots, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, gently wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes that could damage the `HybridTouch` upper or `Strikeskin` elements.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Wear: Please note that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the `ControlFrame 2.0` soleplate may wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic occurrence and will not affect the performance or durability of the product.
