FAQs

What materials are the canisters made from?

The canisters are made from durable materials with a sleek purple finish. The lids are crafted from natural, sustainable bamboo.

Are the canisters dishwasher safe?

The canisters themselves should be hand-washed. The bamboo lids must not be placed in a dishwasher; they should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

What can I store in the bread bin?

The bread bin is designed for storing loaves, rolls, buns, and pastries to help maintain their freshness.

Can I store liquids in these canisters?

These canisters are best suited for dry goods. Storing liquids is not recommended for long-term preservation or to prevent potential leakage or damage to the bamboo lids.

How large is the bread bin?

The bread bin is generously sized to hold a standard loaf of bread and other baked goods. Specific dimensions can be found in the product's detailed specifications.

Is the can opener easy to use?

Yes, the can opener is ergonomically designed for comfortable handling, allowing for quick and safe opening of tins with minimal effort.

How should I care for the bamboo lids?

Wipe the bamboo lids with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid soaking. For maintenance, occasional conditioning with food-safe mineral oil is recommended.

Troubleshooting

Canisters not sealing properly

Ensure the bamboo lid is dry and free of debris. Press down firmly on the lid to create a snug fit. Check if the rim of the canister is clean and undamaged.

Bread freshness not maintained

Ensure the bread bin is not overfilled and that the lid is securely closed. For very humid environments, consider using a bread bag inside the bin.

Bamboo lid showing signs of wear

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Apply a small amount of food-safe mineral oil to the bamboo surface occasionally and buff to restore its appearance.

Can opener is stiff or difficult to use

Ensure the cutting mechanism is clean and free from food residue. Check for any visible damage or misalignment. Rotate the handle a few times to loosen it up.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

No assembly is required. Simply unpack the items and place them on your countertop or in your pantry. Wash the canisters and the can opener before first use.

Compatibility:

This set is designed for storing dry goods such as tea, coffee, sugar, flour, biscuits, snacks, bread, rolls, buns, and pastries. The canisters are suitable for standard kitchen environments. The can opener is compatible with most standard tin sizes.

Care Instructions:

  • Canisters: Hand wash the canisters with warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Ensure they are thoroughly dried before refilling.
  • Bamboo Lids: Wipe the bamboo lids with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking them in water, as this can cause warping or damage. Do not place bamboo lids in a dishwasher or microwave. Occasionally, you can condition the bamboo with food-safe mineral oil to maintain its natural luster and moisture resistance.
  • Can Opener: Hand wash the can opener and dry it thoroughly to prevent rust.
