Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon receiving your ASICS Upcourt 6 GS Sneakers, simply unlace them, slide your child's foot in, and lace them up snugly but comfortably. Ensure the tongue is centered and the heel is seated firmly at the back of the shoe. A good fit should allow for a thumb's width between the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Compatibility
These sneakers are specifically designed for indoor court sports. They perform best on surfaces such as hardwood, synthetic courts, and gym floors, offering optimal grip and minimizing wear on the outsole. While durable, using them extensively on abrasive outdoor surfaces like concrete or asphalt may reduce their lifespan and compromise performance.
Care
Cleaning:
- Remove loose dirt: Gently brush off any loose dirt or debris from the upper and sole with a soft brush.
- Wipe the surface: Use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap (like dish soap) to wipe down the mesh and synthetic sections of the shoe.
- Clean the sole: For the outsole, you can use a stiff brush or an old toothbrush to remove dirt lodged in the tread.
- Rinse and dry: Wipe off any soap residue with a clean, damp cloth. Allow the shoes to air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can damage materials. Do not machine wash or machine dry.
Storage:
Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in damp conditions to prevent mold or mildew growth. Stuffing them with paper can help maintain their shape when not in use for extended periods.
