Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced snugly but not too tightly to allow the adaptive upper to mold effectively to your foot. Experiment with lacing patterns to find the optimal balance of comfort and lockdown.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods during training sessions to break them in. This allows the materials to soften and adapt to your foot's unique shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) and Artificial Ground (AG) surfaces. The soleplate's stud configuration provides optimal traction and stability on these pitch types. Using them on other surfaces, such as soft ground (SG) or indoor courts, may compromise performance and could potentially damage the boots or increase injury risk.
Care
Proper care extends the lifespan of your boots and maintains their performance:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove any loose dirt and mud from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Washing: If necessary, hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as these can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and moisture. Using shoe trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
