Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure boots are laced to provide a secure, comfortable fit. Experiment with different lacing patterns if you experience pressure points.
- Break-in: Like most performance footwear, these boots may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive play to allow them to mold to your feet.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Synthetic turf pitches. The stud configuration is optimized for both surfaces, providing traction without excessive pressure on the joints.
*Not recommended for very soft, muddy, or extremely hard ground surfaces.*
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off dirt and mud using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove insoles and air them out. Boot deodorizers or baking soda can also be used.
