FAQs
What is the warranty on the Sloomy Madison Bed Frame?
Sloomy typically offers a warranty on their bed frames. Please refer to the product documentation or contact Sloomy customer service for specific warranty details relevant to your purchase.
Can I choose a different headboard height?
The Madison frame features specific headboard designs, such as the 50" upholstered headboard option. Custom height options may not be available; please check the product specifications for available variations.
How is the bed frame delivered?
The bed frame is typically delivered flat-packed for assembly. Depending on the configuration and fabric, it may come in multiple boxes.
Is a mattress included with the bed frame?
No, the mattress is sold separately. This guide pertains only to the upholstered bed frame itself.
How do I select the right fabric and color?
You can view the available fabric ranges (Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, Dumfries) and their corresponding color palettes on the Sloomy website or through your retailer. Consider your existing décor when making your selection.
What is the weight limit for the bed frame?
Specific weight limits can vary. It's recommended to consult the product manual or contact Sloomy customer support for the exact weight capacity to ensure safe and optimal use.
Can the bed frame be used with an adjustable mattress base?
The standard Madison frame is designed for use with a traditional mattress. Compatibility with adjustable bases is not guaranteed and may void the warranty. Please verify with Sloomy if an adjustable base is intended.
Troubleshooting
Bed frame squeaks or rattles
Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened securely. Check that the support slats are properly seated and not loose.
Difficulty aligning parts during assembly
Double-check that you are using the correct parts for the current step as indicated in the assembly manual. Ensure no pieces are forced; re-align if necessary.
Fabric appears wrinkled or creased upon arrival
Allow the fabric to relax for a few days. Light steaming (following fabric-specific guidelines) may help remove stubborn creases, but test in an inconspicuous area first.
Missing hardware
Review the parts list in the manual to confirm. Contact Sloomy customer support with the specific part number if any hardware is missing.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Madison bed frame is designed for easy assembly. It typically involves attaching the side rails to the headboard and footboard, followed by fitting the support slats. While specific tools may be required (often a screwdriver and perhaps a wrench, usually provided or standard household tools), the process is intended to be user-friendly. It is recommended to have a second person assist during assembly for larger sizes.
Compatibility: This bed frame is compatible with standard mattress sizes. Ensure you select the correct frame size (e.g., Small Single, Double, King) that matches your mattress. It is designed to support most types of mattresses, including memory foam, hybrid, and traditional spring mattresses, provided they are within the recommended weight limits.
Care: To maintain the appearance of the upholstered fabric, regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment is recommended to remove dust and debris. For spills or stains, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For more persistent stains, consult the specific cleaning instructions for the chosen fabric range (Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, Dumfries). Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
